This presentation will illustrate ways that artificial intelligence can be used to facilitate student projects to gather and transcribe oral history interviews. Using a case study conducted at Draper Park Middle School over the last several years, the presenter will provide suggested best practices, tools, and timelines for conducting large and small interview projects with students, empowering them to grow in archival intelligence and historical thinking skills. Suitable for teachers at any level.
