You may be aware of the amazing templates for educators in Canva for Education but have you introduced your students to Canva? Canva can empower students to tell their own stories and have choice in how they show their mastery of competencies. Canva's large inventory of templates and easy to use drag-and-drop editor allow for students to focus on the content rather than expending unnecessary brain power learning how to use the tool. Canva for Education also has built in capabilities for collaboration, publishing to a larger audience, and providing scaffolds to enhance the learning process for students. In this session, we will brainstorm ideas for meaningful student use of Canva and explore best practices for assigning, grading, and providing feedback for Canva assessments with and without the Canva/Canvas integration.
